Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
Invoice Sonic ("we", "us") provides invoicing software via invoicesonic.com and the Invoice Sonic mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we handle it. It applies to both the website and the mobile app.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you create an account.
- Business and invoicing data — the business details, client records, invoices, quotes, and bank details you enter to create documents. This data belongs to you; we store it to provide the service.
- Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription or trial, so we can unlock paid features. Payment card details are processed by Apple (in-app purchases) or Stripe (web) and never touch our servers.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use advertising trackers.
- We do not read your invoicing data except where needed to support you at your request or as required by law.
Service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service:
- Apple — processes in-app purchases on iOS.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription status for the mobile app.
- Stripe — processes payments on the website.
- Resend — sends transactional emails (verification, receipts, subscription notices).
- Hosting infrastructure — our servers and database are hosted with reputable cloud providers.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time in the app. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@invoicesonic.com from your account email and we will action it within 30 days, except where we must retain records to meet legal obligations.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed. Access to production systems is restricted.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Children
Invoice Sonic is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we will help.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and note the new date above.
