1. Jobber
Core US$29/month billed annually (US$49 monthly) for 1 user; Connect US$99 (US$139 monthly) with 5 users; Grow US$149 (US$199) with 10 users; Plus US$399 (US$499) with 15 users. Extra users are US$29/month each. Jobber matches Housecall Pro on online booking, dispatch, online quote approval and invoicing. See Jobber vs Housecall Pro.
2. ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan is priced per technician on request and includes dispatch, call booking and a customer portal. It is the step up, not the cheaper option.
3. ServiceM8
ServiceM8 charges by jobs per month, with unlimited users on paid plans and a free plan for 30 jobs. That can suit a team whose headcount grows faster than its job count.
4. Tradify
Tradify charges per user, with timesheets and online quote acceptance on Pro and above. It is aimed at trade businesses that track hours.
5. InvoiceSonic
InvoiceSonic is for the business owner who is also the technician: job records, estimates customers accept online, a day-by-day schedule and invoices with Venmo, Zelle, ACH or a card payment link. InvoiceSonic does not have staff accounts, dispatch, GPS, online booking, timesheets or automatic repeat visits. Jobs is built for owner-operators.
See it for HVAC or for handymen.
When to stay on Housecall Pro
If your customers book and pay online and you dispatch several technicians, Housecall Pro is built for that. Its bundled users can make it the cheaper choice for teams of five to eight.
How to decide in two minutes
- Count who needs a login. If only you use it, per-user and dispatch features are cost without benefit. If three or more people need the schedule, team tools earn their price.
- Price it at your real numbers. Per-user, per-job and flat pricing rank differently depending on your headcount and how many jobs you do in a busy month.
- List the features you would use every week. Online booking, a customer portal and timesheets are only worth paying for if customers or staff will use them.
- Use the free trial or free plan on a real job. Quote it, book it and invoice it before you commit.
