Why Revolut alone makes getting paid harder
Invoicing needs the right account
Revolut Business does have invoicing, but without an active Merchant account your invoices can only be paid by bank transfer — no card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay.
Invoice numbers are consumed permanently
Numbering increments by one and a number is registered for good. Delete a draft and you still can't reuse its number.
VAT isn't as automatic as it sounds
Revolut's marketing says VAT is added automatically, but its own help centre states the VAT number isn't taken from your business profile and must be set in the invoice's settings.

Can you customise Revolut invoice numbers?
Yes — despite widely-repeated claims that you can't. Revolut's help centre lists the invoice prefix and number among the settings you can change. What you cannot do is reuse a number: numbering is sequential and each one is registered permanently, even for deleted drafts.
What currencies can Revolut Business invoices use?
Revolut lists 27 currencies for bank transfer and Revolut Pay, 22 for card payments, and 14 if you have no Merchant account. Published comparisons often quote 26 for the first figure — Revolut's own list includes BGN.
Do you need Revolut Business to invoice a Revolut client?
